Bison Herd

Joe Fafard’s sculptures capture the prairie’s spirit and strength.

A large, metallic, abstract sculpture resembling a cup is situated in an urban setting. The sculpture features vertical, curved metal strips that create an open, basket-like design. Surrounding the sculpture, there are historic brick and modern glass buildings along with shops displaying Canadian flags. Flower pots and benches are arranged along the pedestrian walkway.

A stone sculpture with abstract facial features is displayed outdoors surrounded by foliage. The sculpture has exaggerated eyes and mouth, creating a whimsical expression. Nearby, a large pot filled with colorful flowers adds a pop of color to the scene. Leafless trees and a body of water create a peaceful, natural backdrop.

The Herd
